Stop! You're killing me..... Books to die for, if you love mysteries

  • Brad Parks: New Jersey reporter that will keep you laughing and wanting more.
  • Alan Bradley: The Flavia de Luce novelist. Beguiling-Wicked Wit-Wonderfully Entertaining.
  • Robert Crais: Elvis Cole (private eye) and Joe Pike (back up partner) are teamed for adventure, righting the wrong and they're good at it. Wonderful story teller.
  • Marshall Karp: OMG - His books have it all! Great story line, fantasic characters & LAPD's funniest detectives that will have you ROFLYAO! Be sure to read my book(s) report in the March 6th post.
  • Richard Castle: I know, I know, he's a fictional character writing fictional mystery. But, I love Castle and have to include him and Kate and the NYPD gang to the list.
  • Lee Child: Jack Reacher stories take you everywhere, hang on!
  • Michael Connelly: You gotta love Harry
  • John Sandford: Fantastic MN setting, great characters, a must read series
  • William Kent Kruger: Another MN setting with better than best writing.
  • Stephen Cannell: Police detective, Shane Scully is his name, LA is his game. Fantastic story developement!
  • Harlan Coben: Myron & Win team up for great banter and serious crimes - they always come to the rescue.
  • David Rosenfelt: Mr. Rosenfelt brings the witty, bantering lawyer Andy Carpenter to life. This is a fun series that will have you laughing with each turn of the page.
  • Sue Grafton: You gotta love a mystery writer that sets her stories in a fictitious town that replicas Santa Barbara. The ABC mysteries are classics.
  • David Housewright: If you like a witty dialogue, a story that moves along with meaning and characters to love and hate, then David's books are for you. A must read!
  • Archer Mayor: Vermont VBI
  • Robert B. Parker: You gotta love Spenser & Jesse Stone (think Tom Seleck)
  • Lisa Lutz books -- laugh til it hurts!
  • Brian Freeman: Immoral (a little bit dark, but wow the ending is fantastic! I now know why this book got so many awards) takes place in Duluth, MN
  • Nevada Barr's National Parks Series - fantastic
  • Winter Solstice - a non-mystery. I just read for the 9th time, a holiday must.
  • I could go on & will soon
